Day 13 - San Diego

Today we're off to Sea World!

We head out to get the tram and to allow us to get change for the tram stop we buy a breakfast burrito from the local shop ... this is egg, bacon, cheese and potato on a tortilla wrap and boy is it heavy! We get one to share and cant even finish it!

After about 15 minutes We arrive at Sea World and head straight for the Shamu show (we didn't realise there's actually 4 killer whales in the show so it was a surprise) Show is pretty cool lots of jumping and splashing and they're obviously well trained however it's all very American, they ask everybody who's in the forces and is proud of their country to stand up and everybody to applaud them .... After the show we headed for the sea lions and there's loads of them! must of been about 20 of them all very noisy, Rhona decides she wants to feed them so she goes to buy some small fish, the only problem with this is there's seagulls and other birds around which are vicious and there's signs up telling you to be carefull, after a few near misses with the birds and lots of sqwarking from them she manages to feed some of the noisy beasts (video coming soon) Next we head to see Sharks, turtles, dolphins, polar bears, Walrus and huge white beluga whales (which neither of us have seen before) Rhona then went to the rock pool and stroked some starfish then we headed off home for some food, we found a steakhouse and got a big steak dinner & beers for tea.
