Day 24 - Downtown Los Angeles
9AM and we're woken by an old Mexican guy trying to come in shouting "House Keeping?!" despite me saying "No Thanks" he continues shouting "House keeping?!" Rho shouts "NO THANKS" and he says "oooh" and shuts the door, haha crazy Mexicans! Anyways we head out for brekky and decide to spend the day booking stuff for the 2nd part of our trip in Oz. Most of the day is spent researching and booking flights and hotels etc (it really is cheaper to fly around Oz than coach/Train/Hiring car/Organised tour)
We find a way that lets Rhona head to the Lone Pine Koala sanctuary up in Brisbane where she can hold Koalas, feed Kangaroos and see Platypus so she's over the moon.
Our plan for Oz is this: We fly into Sydney after a while there we fly up to Surfers Paradise on the Gold coast to chill on the beach, from there we head to Brisbane and spend a few days around that area before heading to Coolangatta on the southern Gold Coast for a bit (It's near the Gold Coast airport) then we're flying down to Melbourne/St Kilda to see Jason & Louise after all this we have about 4 days to kill so will work our way from Melbourne to Sydney stopping off at random places along the way!
After we've had enough of the laptop/internet we wonder around downtown and take in the sights n sounds n for tea We decide to try a fast food chain they have here called Carl's (Its pretty nice they grill/Charboil their stuff so it's a little healthier and have skin on chips which is a change from salty/slimey/fatty chips you usualy get) Anyways after we're stuffed we head back to the hotel and watch 1 flew over the cuckoos nest before heading to bed. Tomorrow will be our last full day in America so we need to finalise things for Oz and pack our bags.
