Tuesday 19th April We left Byron Bay and headed for the Gold Coast. It was a beautiful day and we stopped off at Burleigh Head Bay to have breakfast and a swim in the Pacific Ocean. On Thursday 14th April Jan and I decided to visit the Botanic gardens. It was raining a little bit but still nice and warm to walk around. We had coffee in the cafe and waited for the heavier rainfall to clear. We then walked through the gardens and out to Mrs Macquaries Chair a landmark out on the point.
