Up early after the grand disco with shivers,sore joints and massive headache. Unfortunately the onset of flu. Played the last match with difficulty
and lost not surprisingly. Roy played really well but was let down my his team.
Decided not to stay with Paul and Elise as Elise is pregnant and would hate to pass on the virus. Roy and Neva took us to the airport in Edinburgh and we booked into the Quality Inn and bid our farewells. The hotel gave us a late check out which enabled me 27 hours in bed before the flight to Barcelona. We almost stayed an extra few days but luckily
didn't as Ann has now come down with the same virus. Mandy picked us up in Bcn and has taken care of us over the last 3 days. Hopefully another couple of days only but who knows. Apparently hospitals here are full of flu patients.
Not a very nice way of ending a wonderful trip.However, it could have been worse and happened earlier.
