Wed night was designated the night of the official dinner. Pat had hired the chef to prepare a meal for 39
The meal began with a champagne toast anf group photo on the steps of the chateau The group of Australians gave a rendition of Advance Australia Fair to start the dinner.
The meal began with garlic prawns heavy with butter. A main course of beef in red wine with beautiful veggies came next. Strangely the cheese came next and this was followed by icecream with a mulled wine sauce. The dinner was held outdoors in the front of the chateau making a magnificient venue. The weather was perfect.

Pat had made place names and Colin one of the guests had gone into the local town to buy flowers for floral arragements Nice sparkly and red and white wines finished off the night
Tomorrow(Friday) we leave for Frankfurt where our flight leaves at 10.20p.m. I may get a chance to blog in the qantas lounge but after stopovers in Singapore and Sydney we are due home on Sunday afternoon .Crow suproters at home need to work harder than they did last week.
