Ok so yesterday was a rainy one - quite unusual for the time of year here they say...so I went to the National Archeological Musuem to see more artifacts from the Islands and Athens...Olympia too. They had some really cool exhibitions...it was free the day I went because of some national holiday - so yay! But they had different hours than I had listed in my travel book - so I was kicked out before I could finish looking at the beautiful things...all is we...

Today I got up at 9, showered, dressed, and asked the front for a big map of Athens. I talked to a Brazilian girl last night that got one from them...and it was great with ALL the little streets, etc...so when I went walking I wouldn't get lost when I walked to a certain part of town or something. The guy at front gave me this small map on a card (2"x2") and said "this is the only map to Athens you need....here is our hostel (he points)...and here is the Acropo...

From Patras, I caught a train to Athens (3 hours). Once in Athens a few groups of backpackers were looking for the same hostel as me, so I joined their group and found the place about a ten minute walk away in Victoria Square...North of the main attractions...but right near the Greek National archaelolgical Museum.
