Departure from Moscow by train..... What an awesome night. Fantastic group that we were traveling with, just the 8 - won't comment on the rest of the passengers (real lack of sense of humor this part of the world).

Believe it or not, the inside of the metro station. Today we had an excursion through the Moscow underground Metro. The architecture and decor are remarkable. All there to commemorate some part of Moscow history.

Cathedral of Christ the Saviour - this territory belonged to the St Alexius Nunnery in the Middle Ages. When the Nunnery was transferred it was foretold that everything constructed on the site would be destroyed. And so begins a long story and construction and destruction.
