Napoleon III Apartments - nothing like living 'big'. Aren't we lucky our lives are more simplistic, bit "rich" for me.

What an awesome place, got there really nice and early this morning with private tour guide. This was more like what we expected, with furnishings, paintings, etc. This place is so huge you would need a few days to see everything, thankfully our guide took us to the 'most' important/interesting places first and in front of the hordes of Chinese.

Versailles - once again, skip the line. Got to see the State Apartments, Hall of Mirrors and magnificent gardens but no fountain display. To be honest, apart from the gardens and the buildings themselves found the palace rather disappointing. Total lack of personality as all rooms (apart from the bedrooms, which only really had a bed in) were all empty. Evening at the Moulin Rouge - what a truly awesome evening. The show & especially the costumes were so, so amazing & colorful. Once again, I'm so glad that we pre booked so could skip the queue. No kidding the queue was about 3 blocks long and probably an average of 4 deep. Imagine standing in that queue and not getting in. Couldn't think if anything worse.
