Cathedral Our Lady Of Rheims, La Montaigne De Reims, France Jul 19, 2013 4 of these beautiful 'roses' and another 80 windows allows light into the cathedral. There is 1500sm of stained glass, some quite modern in design. Could spend days listening to the stories behind each payne of glass.
Cathedral Our Lady Of Rheims, La Montaigne De Reims, France Jul 19, 2013 This is a truly stunning masterpiece that dates back to the 13th century. Many kings have been crowned here and was considered a symbol of motherland during WWI, and of the Franco-German reconciliation later on. In 1429 King Charles VII was crowned here in the presence of Joan of Arc. A statue of Joan of Arc is also shown here. The intricate details and sculptures are really fantastic, in a lot of ways more impressive than Notre Dame.
Mumm Champagne, Rheims, France Jul 19, 2013 Now that is what I call a bottle of champagne. Very interesting tour, more importantly lovely champagne. This House dates back two hundred years, with their cellars (caves) stretching some 23 km's on 2 levels. First at 7m and the second at 14m under ground where the temperature remains constant at around 10 degrees Celsius. Was an absolute pleasure in comparison to the outside temps that reached 35 today.

So will just stop in the street and hold up the traffic. Would really go down well with our taxi drivers, they would fit right in....
