I had another pretty long drive up to Queenstown, home of adrenaline sports this morning. The drive was nce though as it was through some very nice scenery. I had to drive across flat farmland to the centre of the island, then head north along a mountainside. The town has a very alpine feel with the mountains behind it and Lake Wakatipu in front. There is quite a big town centre with lots of shops, well compared to places I've been before. I'm bogged down with a really heavy cold so don't feel up to doing much. I took a walk this afternoon in the public gardens which was nice.
