There wasn't much happening today as the torrential downpour continued. I called Gail and she was in Christchurch. She is buying an ex-racehorse. She has definately settled in now. It was very overcast and raining when I left Wanaka for the long drive north to the glaciers. The first part of the journey was over undulating hills with fields of sheep. Then I drove along twisty mountain roads before reaching flatlands. The final part of the journey was through forest which went through the mountains.
