There wasn't much happening today as the torrential downpour continued. I called Gail and she was in Christchurch. She is buying an ex-racehorse. She has definately settled in now. I've told her I will be up to see her in about a weeks' time so I have to finish the west coast and cross over to do the rest of the east coast before I reach her. I went out this evening to a bar to watch the rugby with two English girls, a Canadian girl, a French girl and a German guy. The bad weather also affected the game as you could barely see the players and the commentators were asking for infra-red cameras to see who was on the pitch. It was quite funny seeing the camera try to follow the ball and all you could see was fog.
