The trip to Krabi was pretty bad. A boat for 2 hours to Surat Thani; a one hour coach trip to Surat Thani town, where I was dropped in the middle of nowhere not the train station as I was told; a 40 minute wait in the middle of nowhere for the bus; a 4 hour bus trip where I was freezing having forgotten to take my jumper onboard; and then a songthaew to Krabi town. Luckily I met some people on the last leg, so I had someone to have dinner with!

I stayed in the cheapest accommodation I have stayed in so far (100B - about 1 pound 40 ish), which was literally a room big enough for a bed - I didn't care at this point. In the morning I had to get up pretty early to get the bus to take me to the pier. So by this time I was rather tired....I suppose it had to happen sometime, but from getting up at 12 for the past week and doing nothing but relaxing it was a shock to the system.

The boat to Koh Phi Phi was great though. The sun was shining, the view was spectacular and I sat chatting to some really nice girls all the way there. I arrived in a practical paradise about 2 hours later.
