We arrived in Wellington, back to reality for a while as we went out on a few nights of partying. We managed to get on a bar crawl and found we were pretty much the only people there haha, but it did mean we managed to meet some Maori folk who took us out to a few clubs and managed to getus in to some nice places without queuing which was a result. Before we left they did the Haka for us which was a good laugh :)

The rest of the time was pretty much sightseeing. We went up to the top of Mount Victoria which overlooked all of Wellington, again great view, see one side and green the other. Also checked out the museum which was nice to see all the Maori houses and things they had built and used over the years.

Sadly at this point, Carrie had to fly home as her father became ill which was sad but we had all had a excellent time with her and there was no doubt we'd all keep in tough and meet up again :)

Our next stop was the south island where we had to catch the ferry over to Picton.
