I arrived in Auckland where we had to find somewhere to stay as we didnt book anything but managed to find a hostel in the center.

We dropped our stuff off and headed out to see what the night life was like and found a few bars where we had a drink, played some pool and settled in to the next stage of our journey.

I planned to set off with a rented car and head down eventually getting to Queenstown where Tuan currently was. The girls decided they wanted to join me so we rented a car the next day ready to set off. With no particular route planned we just grabbed a map and made it up on the way.

I know we didnt stay in Auckland very long but to be honest i didnt find it that great, i wanted to get to the "outdoors".
