06/10/08 The cockroach outside our hostel had a bad night of it, was still on its back 9 hours later, gutted. Got picked up by our tour guide from the hostel and picked up 2 others that were on the trek with us, 2 Swedes, Henrik and Josephine, friendly chaps. Hello all. Arrived in Bangkok yesterday. The first thing you notice after leaving the airport is the instant claminess. Spent the day wandering around a few streets in Bangkok, already seen a Tesco Express! Far to many adams apples on what initially look like females.
