Dear All, today started with a bit of a hiccup as our flight over the Whitsunday Islands was cancelled as there weren't enough people. Luckily for us they ran another one in the afternoon so we wasted the morning shopping and hanging around by Airlie Lagoon and then went up after lunch!! We flew over Hook Island, Hayman Island, the Great Barrier reef including Heart Shape Reef, Whitsunday Island and saw Whitehaven beach where we had our Beach BBQ yesterday - it was fantastic from the sky!! I can't remember all the names of the Islands and reefs we saw but it was spectacular!!! Then we got back on the road and stayed at a campsite in Mackay!! Had to beware of all the frogs again as we brought the rain with us!!! ;0)
