Hello everybody! I have access to the real world....AMAZING!! For 3 hours anyways...better then nothing though!! Well Mel and I had no idea what to expect on this tour......so here we find ourselves traveling for 9 days on a big green bus with 36 ppl....CRAZY!! The bus has no seats..just beds everywhere! We slept on it the other night as we had to travel throughout the night to get to our next destination.....Mel and I had to sleep in this little squishy box like bed - slightly clostrophobic - very funny! Every other night is spent sleeping under the stars at various National parks throughout Nevada, Utah and Arizona! Last night was the first night that we got a full nights sleep outside, as every other night it has rained and we've had to all squish in the bus till its passed! We made some of the boys sleeps around us like a baricade so if any animals some along they can protect us (hehehe!) Good times!!! All the ppl are awesome...so funny! We've become really close with about 10 of them - hard not to when you do everything together for 9 days - day and night!! Many fun times are spent singing and dancing on the bus trips and swimming in lakes and rivers and climbing through and around canyons! So far we have seen Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Arches National Park, Monument Valley & Colorado River (might have missed something!?) and tonight we are sleeping by Lake Powell and then we are off to the Grand Canyon tomorrow!!! Lots of fun!! Yesterday we went on a jeep tour through Monument Valley - Navajo nation!!! Our jeep broke down, but then we got to ride in these way cooler ones! Mel and i were standing in the back and our driver was crazy - so much fun!!! He was singing Indian songs for us and we even got to do an Indian dance! Oh.....a very funny part of this 'adventure' that i've forgotten to mention! We thought that after our last tour, the days of drop loos and no showers were long gone.....thing again!! This is even more 'rough' then the last one!! Haven't showered in 3 days - over the whole 9 days we will only have showered twice!! SMELLY!! My hair looks and feels like i have dreadlocks....my feet are black from dirt and what looks like an awesome tan will probably wash off in water!! Our 'showers' are a swim in a lake or river...if we're lucky!! But its all good fun.....and lets face it - everybody on the bus smells just as bad as each other!!!! It is all a part of this big adventure in the end!! I wouldn't change a thing - it is so much fun!! Anyway - must head back to the bus.....off for a 'shower' in the lake!!
