Hello everyone!! Mel and I safely arrived in Memphis Tennesse, after a very long 9 hour bus trip!! But what we saw today was certainly worth the journey! It is 'Elvis' week here in Memphis and the whole town is in full spirit!! We visited Graceland and got to see the mansion where 'The King' lived!! While we were in there taking pics we spotted a film crew.....it was Tom Williams and the crew from 'Getaway' Australia!!! How ironic!! We yelled out 'Aussie Aussie Aussie'!! Had a quick chat to them and even got filmed....pretending to take photos....hehehehe!! If we don't get edited out, we should be on TV in a couple of months!! Unbelievable!! It was so impressive to see that everything was just as he left it before he passed away. We even got to see the gravesite's of Elvis and some of his family members!! After checking out his "Lisa-Marie" Jet and his many cars including the famous pink cadillac, it was off to Sun Studios! Sun studios is the home to many hit recordings by Elvis, Johnny Cash and many more stars!! Before heading back to our hotel we stopped by Bealle Street - the home of the blues!! Lots of live blues bands ... i was in heaven!! Back to Dallas tomorrow.....another long bus trip:-( But then we fly to Cancun, Mexico to stay in an all inclusive resort for 3 nights!!!
