So we arrived in Hampi in Karnataka on the 13th Feb after another crazy 10 hour bus journey, i slept pretty well this time so must be getting used to the smooth (??!!) driving. We found a nice guest house and spent the day chilling out and massaging our bruised bones!
Hampi is a small holy town full of ancient temples that are dotted around the town itself and also further a field. So the next day we hired bikes and set off on our own Tour de Hampi. The day was great but it was extremly hot and for once there were no random shops selling food and drinks (which you get everwhere else in India) so all we had to eat all day was a weird pie Fred had over-ordered (suprise, suprise!) from his dinner the night before. We teased him at the time but were grateful for his greediness in the end!! The temples were amazing and really worth the 20 pints of water we each sweated out cycling round! Hopefully you'll see this in the photos....... ;0)
Unfortunatly when we left Hampi yet again it was on a night bus, this one was however 'luxury' and in comparision to the others it really was and clean, which the others were soooooooo not! This bus took us to Mysore.......
