Weather: Sunny!!

Early morning start to catch the bus. First thing I noticed of the day was the amount of new bites I had, something was having a right feast on me. We found the culprit in the bed…a huge bug which I must have squashed in the night. It gave me nice big bites which were majorly itchy!

The ferry journey was a bumpy one! The waves were huge and the first part was only a small boat. Thankfully when we got to Koh Phi Phi we changed onto a bigger boat so it was a bit sturdier. We sat outside on the deck and chilled in the sun until we got there. I say chilled, its more like melted.

When we got to Phuket we got a minibus to Patong. The taxi driver was useless though, he had no idea where we were staying, I think he got out about three times to ask where it was. Eventually we found it and checked in. We then went on a search for a starbucks because its so touristy in Phuket we new there would be one and we also needed a major coffee kick! We walked for about half an hour to find it but oh it was worth it…oreo cheesecake, black forest cake and espresso chocolate brownie between the three of us. Yum yum!

It turned out to be a right splurge day because we came across a massive market with loads of clothes and accessories. We spent hours in there going round in circles, the shop owners must have known us by name by the last time we went round! I bought some new flip flops and a sarong and a new necklace to replace terry the turtle that I lost on Koh Phi Phi, Nelly the elephant will have to stay safer. Although he did try to strangle me because the necklace was one of those ones that you have to pull a certain bit to get longer or shorter, well it would only get shorter so it was getting tighter and tighter around my neck! I had to be cut free in the end and was given another one J

We went out for dinner at a really cheap place but it was really good food! After that we went back to the room and played s***head for a while before heading out into town. Bangla Road is the main place and apparently its where they film big trouble in Thailand which wasn't very comforting!

We stopped at a bar and had a good laugh with one of the thai girls that worked there. She was so funny bless her and sorted us out with drink deals. She tried to get me to dance on the stage for a cheap drink bless her, I did it for a split second.

We were then walking to the next place and Carm found someone who could take us to a ping pong show which she really really wanted to see! I just thought meh..when in Thailand! It turned out to be a really good night, and when the ping pong show finally started it wasn't as bad I thought it would be. She started by just getting a ball into a cup and then she blew out a birthday candles on a cake! It was a hilarious night and finished by us having a dance on the stage with the girls again.
