Place: Koh Phi Phi

Weather: started off very wet then went very hot!

I was woken on the beach by pouring rain. I did just put the sleeping bag over my head but then thought I had better move, so I went to an place that was slightly sheltered by the rock. After slowly waking up and drinking a lot of coffee, we went to have a group picture where we all jump, just like in the movie. It didn't turn out too well with the whole group because we just couldn't get the timing right, but we got a great one with Aimee, Carmen and me.

Swimming to a boat in strong currents, early in the morning after hardly any sleep is not fun! It was so hard trying to get into the sea let alone across it!

As soon as we got back we jumped in the shower to get all the sand off, I still managed to find some in my ear a few hours later though. We weren't up to doing much that day since we had only had about 1 hours sleep, so after getting a sandwich, Carm and I head back to the room to sleep.

I woke up a few hours later to a mini scorpion looking thing on my pillow…think it's the fastest Ive ever got up. It was almost time to get ready to go out for dinner so we stayed in the room for a while. It's lucky we did because we basically had a monsoon for an hour! We could see it was really dark on the other side of the island and was heading towards us, the rain was literally like a waterfall coming from the sky moving towards us.

It stayed like that for about and hour and was absolutely mad! It was like the ride in Florida which was meant to be like the film hurricane; I thought a cow was going to fly past me at any point. When it stopped it was about time to go out for dinner so we went to Paddy's which has the best chips in the world!

Whilst there we met a few of the people who came to The Beach with us and we all went for a drink afterwards and ended up at the party beach. Even though I was absolutely shattered before it, once I got on the dance floor I was fine J It didn't last too long though and I went in earlier than everyone else and had an amazing sleep until 1pm the next day!
