Place: Koh Phi Phi to Koh Lanta
Weather: hot but overcast
After sleeping last night with a lizard in the room I was super relieved to be leaving. We had said that we would meet another Lucy and get the ferry to Koh Lanta together and the other guys were going to come over and meet us tomorrow. We got off the ferry and went with someone who had told us about there accommodation just before we got on the ferry.
The resort was actually really nice; it had a pool and a massage place right next to the beach. We had lunch looking out over the sea and then went to have an explore in the town. Turned out the town was just a street and was basically deserted. So we head back and, since we hadn't slept properly for ages, had a nap for a few hours.
When we woke up it was time to get ready for dinner. We went and we had an absolute feast! Starters was Chicken Satays, Chicken Spring rolls and garlic bread between the three of us. I then had enchiladas whilst Lucy and Carmen shared some thai food. Then desert, which had to be the best course of the lot, was banana spring rolls, fried ice cream and baked pineapple in honey. Lush!
We then slumped ourselves in the bar, feeling absolutely stuffed, and had a chat, watched a bit of a film without any words, and met a new girl called Sasha who had lived here for a while and she told us about a party the next night which we said we would come to. It was an early night because we were all so shattered, but we ended up watching Marly and Me in the room which was close to making me cry. What an amazing dog.
