Diving course day!!! I snuck out of my room and walked down to the diving shop. I was really nicely surprised when I found out 2 other people had joined my diving course because it had meant I didn't need to pay a single supplement of £50!! I met Elise and a german guy (cant remember his name because I could never pronounce it!) in the back room where we met our instructor Jason Oh.

It was only the theory part today so we sat in a little classroom upstairs and watched videos about safety and how to do things. We also had a fill in the gaps worksheet and after almost a full day we had to do a multiple choice final exam which was really easy and we were even allowed our notes with us!

Once the day had ended I head back to the hostel where I had to swap rooms so that Lucy could fit a bit group in the room I was in. I found out that day that my New Zealand bus pass had actually expired because it had 'special' terms and conditions. I was gutted but then worked out it would actually be beneficial if I didn't go because my budget was going to be extremely tight!
