Weather: Sunny
Since we were supposed to organise everything so far in advance here we thought we had better go and book some things. Carm really wanted to go diving in Sipidan which is meant to be one of the best places in the world to do it. Whilst we were booking that I found out I could do my Open Water course in Kota Kinabalu for only £130! That's like the cheapest in the world. I decided to go for it and booked myself in for the last few days of the trip.
We were supposed to be going with a girl to the islands but the woman we booked our diving with was a right chatterbox and we couldn't get away in time. So instead we went on search for some lunch in the supermarkets and sat in a café where we used their wifi to research some things. We then did some shopping in preparation for the mountain climb. I bought a new daypack since mine had broken and I got a head torch and gloves.
The plan was to go to the night market for dinner but we came across a restaurant called Texas that was decently priced and they had a computer on the table for us to use. Carm needed to research a trip to the Phillipines she had decided to fit in before going to Australia. I researched a bit for my trips in Australia.

Gran Thinking of Carm going to the Philippines... I noticed Bali had been cut out of your itinerary and wondered why. Perhaps because you chose other locations instead, which you didn't originally plan to visit? It's great that you're going on a diving course after all. AND in time for the Great Barrier Reef!
