We sailed around Whitsunday Islands on a charted yacht for 2 days. There were 24 of us on Whitehaven boat which was a perfect number! Highlights of the cruise were the sunsets and sunrise... such stunning colours and nothing but ocean to interrupt it! Snorkeling was also good fun! Lots of pretty coral and fishes to see! We were unfortunate enough to have outbursts of rain on the second day though. Mother nature was kind to us when we arrived at the famous Whitehaven beach though and the sun came out :-). Absolutely stunning and definitely has to be the most beautiful beach i have seen - The sand is one of the purist in the world! The downer of the trip was the bed bugs on board! They managed to eat me alive! Well not quite... but it felt like it! lol! So i had to spend the morning of arrival back on mainland washing and tumble drying my clothes to get rid of them :-(.
