We spent 2 nights at Umzumbe, Mantis and Moon hostel. Umzumbe is a small village on the coast and is celebrated as having some of the best waves on the South coast. Emma, Will and I attempted to surf them but failed miserable as it was like a washing machine so we just got chucked around in the waves. My stay at Coffee Bay, Coffee Shack hostel is one of my favorite stops in South Africa. The rural village lies in the heart of the wild coast and is surrounded by rolling hills, rivers and the sea. We spent 3 relaxing nights in Cinsta at Buccanners backpackers which was set in a coastal forest on a hill overlooking the sea and lagoon. We were even lucky enough to have our own cottage for our stay which was nice. We spent the days walking along the long sandy beach, bodyboarding, canoeing and relaxing by the pool.
