So today we took the ferry over to Magnetic Island. It took 20 minutes to get there and on arrival the bus to Horseshoe Bay ha a long queue so we decided to take the bus to Picnic Bay.
Picnic Bay was pretty but with not much to do, we decided to get the bus an hour later back to Horseshoe Bay.
Horseshoe Bay was home to the Koala park. But the entrance fee (for a photo with a koala) was not the only thing I paid for. I also got to hold an alligator, snake and a turtle. Kate was not beat pleased about the whole experience, and I was not impressed that the tour ran over meaning we missed our bus and ferry and had to wait 2 hours to get back to the mainland and walk home in the dark.
Great day for wildlife. Bad day for missing the ferry!
