So we are in Townsville for 3 full days but today we decided to take it easy and find a bit of sun. The beach is so picturesque I only had to take one photo because it really did look like that! We lay underneath some palm trees on the grass before moving to a beach we could swim at (due to the jellyfish you have to swim in nets). We found the bay and I went straight in! The water was so warm, I didn't want to get out.
We than snoozed on the beach and then after feeling slightly pink we headed back to the hostel for a shower where I noticed my rather burnt forehead!
Ooops.
So we spent the rest of the evening at the hostel avoiding the sun and trying to find somewhere cool to sit (no air-con in our room - major fail).
