Today was a quiet day due to Kate's allergic reaction to her sand fly bites! So we booked a doctors appointment and made the long trek to the surgery. In traditional fashion, we were seen an hour after our appointment time but Kate was given antibiotics and we went back to the hostel and got ready for our move tomorrow for our boat trip!

So today we took the ferry over to Magnetic Island. It took 20 minutes to get there and on arrival the bus to Horseshoe Bay ha a long queue so we decided to take the bus to Picnic Bay. Picnic Bay was pretty but with not much to do, we decided to get the bus an hour later back to Horseshoe Bay. Horseshoe Bay was home to the Koala park. So we are in Townsville for 3 full days but today we decided to take it easy and find a bit of sun. The beach is so picturesque I only had to take one photo because it really did look like that!
