I'm currently sat on a plane flying over Australia. The sun is rising but my mind is completely baffled by what time or day it is.
Farewells at Heathrow were slightly tearful (well... just me) so we found a bar and had my last pint of Aspells for a while before boarding our plane.
The first 6 hour flight was entertaining. Most of all due to the hundreds of films available on the screen on front of every passenger. Secondly by the man who was sat next to me who proceeded to burp every 10 minutes. Lovely. Didn't sleep at all on this flight... Seemed like a good idea at the time.
Do flights ever leave on time?
Mine so far have both been an hour late. So we had a mad dash at Dubai airport but then was delayed by another hour.
16 hours is a long time. So I have napped here and there and watched about 5 films.
My brain hurts.

Now at Brisbane airport. Luckily they let us check in 6 hours before our flight departs. Now to find a quiet corner and get to the hostel for a shower.
