We arrived in New Zealand yesterday at 5pm local time. Penny was waiting for us at the airport and drove us to her boyfriends house which is to be our home for the next week. The house is amazing, its open plan and it has carpet!! Such luxury i'm not used to - No more bugs...Or Rats!! We had a relaxing evening - I had bought 2 bottles of Bounty Rum from Fiji costing a total of about 12 english pounds! The rum is 58% proof so very strong! We had a couple of glasses of that and also went to the video store and got some dvd's. Penny cooked some chicken kebabs and salad - So not used to proper food when all we've been eating are noodles!! We had a pretty early night and then this morning we went to the mall! I bought a billabong jumper for about 17pounds!! It really is so cheap out here I love it! After the mall - Only a quick stop today - we headed north to Penny's dad's farm. He had cooked a massive feast - The lamb was so mouthwateringly fantastic and the sausages were too good for words! The farm was massive and we saw his saw mill and also had a ride on his quad bike! I am currently in Penny's office looking like the typical office worker in my white 3/4 length shorths and my billabong hoodie...Also in flip flops even though its raining!! The weather is supposed to be getting warmer tomorrow so fingers crossed. Looking into what we are going to do whilst we are here so more updates on what we did at a later date.
