Today the Caldwell Zoo interns took a trip to Six Flags Over Texas where we spent nearly 8 hours riding roller coasters, getting soaking wet, and eating our weights in Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream. As massive roller coaster enthusiasts, we made sure to go straight to the newly re-opened Texas Giant. It was FANTASTIC! Honestly one of the best roller coasters I have ever been on. There were even mine shafts with mist, LED lights and wind, and it was so much fun! We made sure to hit up all of the water rides since it was in the low 100s, and we really lucked out as we never waited for more than 20-30 minutes for a ride. Six Flags Over Texas is definitely a must for anyone going to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex!
