Well, I've made my big cross-country move back to Atlana, Georgia to intern at the Georgia Aquarium again! I get to spend the next 3.5-4 months working with the southern sea otters; Oz, Gracie, Brighton, Bixby and Cruz. I literally spend every day within inches of these guys and it couldn't be more awesome! Last time I interned at the Georgia Aquarium (earlier this year) I worked with the beluga whales, harbor seals, Asian small clawed otters and on occasion, the African black footed penguins. If you haven't been to the Georgia Aquarium you absolutely must go! It is a must-see if you're anywhere in the southeastern United States. (Pictured is Maris, a beautiful female beluga whale.)
