Today I went to visit one of my closest friends at her new job; The Emma Willard School. The Emma Willard School was the first all-girls boarding school in the United States, has a rigorous academic program, and currently houses over 300 girls from numerous countries. The school was honestly one of the most beautiful campuses I have ever visited, boarding school or collegiate. I felt like I had been transported to either Hogwarts or a completely different era- the beautiful hardwood, stained glass windows and marble staircases were stunning, the ground immaculate, and the message wonderful- girls deserve a thriving academic environment meant to challenge them and help them grow!
