It has been more than 4 months since I began my sea otter internship at the Georgia Aquarium and I am more in love with these guys than ever! Pictured here is Gracie, our 14 year old southern sea otter, who is juuuust about to take a nap. You can tell she is perfectly relaxed because she is sucking on her right paw, much like a child may suck on their thumb. It's hard to believe I only have another month interning here, so I'm not going to think about it and continue to have the time of my life playing with sea otters!
