Well since my last blog entry I've been very busy travelling through central China with a tour. From Beijing we travelled down to Xi'An and saw the Terracotta Warriors which were an impressive sight. Xi'An itself is a nice city. We then travelled down to Chongqing and boarded a boat for a 2 day cruise along the Yangtze River and through the Three Gorges. The scenery here was amazing and it was a really nice and peaceful two days. After here we went to Long Sheng. This was a change to the itinerary as the place we were supposed to have gone to was right by the earthquake epicenter so our route was altered. Long Sheng was lovely though. We hiked all around the rice terraces which were fantastic. Again, beautiful scenery and it was nice to stay in a village and really get involved and see how the locals live. We left here this morning and are now in a town called Yangshuo. We have two days here to see the sights and do things (including a cooking class!!). After here is the transfer to Hong Kong and the end of the tour. Am really looking forward to Hong Kong. Have put all the photos up from the past 2 weeks, hope you enjoy looking at them
