After leaving Fiji I headed to San Francisco. Was a slightly disorientating day. I left Fiji 11pm on the Saturday and I arrived at 5pm on Saturday. Flew for 16 odd hours and got my Saturday evening back.

San Francisco has been great. I have spent lots of time walking around (all the many hills), I have ridden the historic cable car, I have walked around Pier 39, I have been to Alcatraz and I have biked the Golden Gate Bridge.

Alcatraz was an interesting experience. I did the night time tour so it was a bit eerie walking around the Island at night. Great views back of the city skyline from there though. I did the audio tour so you are walking around hearing the voices of ex-prisoners and guards! You get to see all the cells, isolation cells, warden areas etc, it was really interesting.

Biking the Bridge was good fun aswel. Was tiring though, so may hills and then we took the bikes around the city a bit after aswel. By the end I was pushing my bike up the hill.....too much effort to attempt cycling up them! Was good though, got some great views out over the Bay and Alcatraz. The bridge is quite long and was so windy when we were crossing it. Of course the wind was against us, even had to battle to cycle down the hills!

Pier 39 is lovely to walk around, really nice shops and lots going on around there. And it is from here that you get to see all the sea lions aswel. They are noisy!!!!

Apart from the main tourist attractions I have done lots of walking and obviously some shopping (good shopping here and lots of pre-Christmas sales).

I have really enjoyed San Francisco, definitely one of my favourite cities. Next stop is Las Vegas!!!!!
