We left Nelson at the crack of dawn once again to head to Nelson Lakes to find more breathtaking scenery. Claire and some of the guys headed off for a walk while Steph and I sunbathed and threw an American Football around for a bit! We then had a picnic by the lake before heading to our next destination of Lake Mahinapua. On route we stopped in Greymouth and were given a them for that nights fancy dress, it was 'no clothes' as in we had to make something out of anything but clothes! We decided we'd go as mummies and buy some white sheets and rip them up and wrap them round us- nice and cheap! Arrived in Lake Mahinapua to little cabins and a sort of clubhouse on what seemed to be like a farm in the middle of nowhere to be greeted by Les the owner a 83yr old man! We settled in headed down for a cheeky snakey and a banquet- was lush! After dinner was time to get ready, more banter or should I say flirting between smiley and the girls which resulted in them being locked on the coach for half hour! Dressing was amusing- Linda out nurse claimed to be best at bandaging but we were struggling to cover ourselves- by the end we looked more like patients, good job we had underclothes on! J We partied the night away in our costumes continued our flip cup comp with boys and yes Girls won again! J heading back to our cabins about 4am, having to climb through the window as we lost the key surprisingly
