First we went to see the ducks at the Peabody Hotel. They are so cute! They live on the rooftop garden, but every day they come down the elevator and walk along a red carpet and into a fountain. It's pretty funny.
The mud Island monorail was cool! Mud Island is in the Mississippi River. Mud Island is only muddy when it rains.
I think.
Memphis is the home of Elvis at Graceland. Elvis had a horse. We saw the paddock he kept it in. We saw his two planes, they were big jets! Plus we wrote our names on the wall of Graceland because we were allowed.

Today we visited 4 states. We drove up to Tennessee, through Mississippi, and across huge bridge to Arkansas. Plus Alabama.
We had to drive on a tight timeframe to get to Memphis at 11am, so we could see the Peabody ducks. They are funny, they waddle down a red carpet in the fancy Peabody hotel every day, and even take the elevator!
Later on We went to Mud Island on a Monorail that carried us across the Mississippi River. There was a full scale model of the whole Mississippi River, that kids could splash in. We even saw big catfish.
After that went to see Graceland. We had to drive through the slums to get there, which was a bit scary. Dad thought that the theme parky area was the mansion. Oh boy… The mansion was amazing though, and huge. It was cool to write on the wall near the gates of Graceland (we were allowed to!).
Then it was the long drive back to Alabama…we did a lot of miles today so we were allowed on the iPads for the trip home ;)
