We left the Grand Canyon and proceeded on the 5ish hour drive to Vegas! Stopping on the way at an old Route 66 town (I can't remember the name), and passing the Hoover Dam.

When we got to Vegas, before checking it, we went to look at Caesar's Palace. But he wasn't there. After getting ready we were picked up and taken to an Italian restaurant - at last European food and no American garbage (that does taste good I must say). Following the meal we had our city tour and group photo at the Vegas sign.

Our guide and driver then decided to fake a row about his driving hours, meaning we had to 'wait' in one of the wedding chapels for taxis. Turns out this was our surprise. Two of our group got married by the man himself - Elvis! Hopefully, for their sake, it wasn't legit!

Then we headed to a club called XS at Encore hotel and casino. Was pretty cool and a good night. But in my usual form, I was back and in bed by 2am so I'd be full of energy today. And I am.

A full day in Vegas today, Cirque du Soleil and a limo ride tonight. And tomorrow we head through the Sierra Nevada mountains to Bass Lake and Yosemite National Park.
