Sa-waa-dee-kah (Hello)

Well what can we say about Koh Samui...........Great choice Rob (Rob is our STA Travel guy, and he suggested it as a chill out place for us to get a base on the tan before we started travelling properly.........and he was so right!!!)

As you can see from some of the pictures, the place we were staying (the Peace Resort) was very nice indeed. We certainly weren't slumming it here ☺!

After the madness of Bangkok on our initial arrival, it was good to relax and breath some fresh air for a week. This week has got our heads cleared of all the pre-departure madness (getting the flat sorted, cancelling direct debits, being put on hold by Esure for 75 minutes to cancel my car insurance etc!!!) We saw the island's sights and also got a Thai massage (No Jazz, not the kind that you got when you we're in Bangkok ☺.) A few mozzie bites here and there..... but all sorted by some strange concoction called "Tiger Balm"

We're now back to the madness of Bangkok (sitting in an internet place in Khao San Road), where we will be until the 20th, before heading south to Singapore (we might take a trip up to Kanchanaburi to see the "Bridge over the River Kwai" etc)
