So we decided to go to Hong Kong to get our China visas, as it is close to where we needed to be to get our flight from Guangzhou to LA.We booked a cheap flight out of Phuket to Hong Kong..and I have to say we were surprised to find accommodation at a reasonable price, as we had spoke to a few people along the way who had said that Hong Kong is very expensive (which it was...... struggled to find anywhere for less than 70 a night!!) but good old trip advisor came...

So as you can imagine after India we really needed a place to chill and work out what we were going to do in Asia (as we need to get our visas sorted for China) so what better place to do this than Phuket!
