We leave behind the glitz and glamour of Nice and head to the natural beauty of the Tuscan landscape. Before reaching the beautiful destination we stop to see the Leaning Tower or Pisa and each take turns to hold the large bell tower up :)

Sunflowers lined every side of the road on our drive in to Florence and I would have loved nothing more than to stop the bus and get lost in the fields. However, a tuscan dinner awaited us in Florence and more breathtaking scenery lay ahead. The food, wine and conversation was flowing at dinner and it felt like the real Italy, the one you hear stories about from books, movies or fellow travellers.

After dinner we hit the town and joined in at a local karoke, Florence will be dearly missed after we head to Rome tomorrow. If you want to experience Italy look no further than Florence, you have to search for McDonalds and a Starbucks which makes this a favourite and a part of Europe that large corporations have not yet been able to overtake :)
