Well, well, well.........we do like the French Rivieria and can't wait to go and play with the rich and the famous. We are in town when Angelina and Brad welcome their two newest additions to the family and when the sun is at its brightest.
A day to explore where the rich come to flaunt their money and where the everyday people come to watch them do it. Cars attract attention at every set of lights. Lunch is enjoyed, in the sun, at outside cafes. Fountains keep you cool as you stroll through the bustling streets. We capped our day off with a swim at the beach........ ARRGGGHHHH!!!! What the ???!!!***^^%$# Pebbles, PEBBLES - sorry if you are from OZ it is only sand, sand or sand at the beach. Couldn't get used to the whole pebble thing and after a very quick and painful dip of the feet in the ocean we returned back to the stylish streets. However, we did love watching the men who walk around with their eskies selling drinks and watermelon they were a great laugh.
The sun was setting but the night only just beginning because Monaco, the worlds second smallest country, was calling our name and the casinos were waiting to be played in. So we didn't play quiet as well as Bond - Yes James Bond!! But cocktails were enjoyed overlooking a Southern France Sunset and the night lights enjoyed as we returned back to our beds after a very long and exciting day.
Despite the pebbles we have all agreed we will one day return to the south of France and maybe if we are lucky living like the other half .
