Day 3...the sun is shining and I've finally decided what to do! I leave Bangkok on Thurs, flying to Hanoi with two Australian girls. But for now I'm trying to enjoy Bangkok as much as possible whilst parts of the city are shut down. Yesterday nothing was open so we just went to a shopping mall out of town to keep us out if mischief! I experienced my first ride on a tuktuk which was eventful when the driver wanted to take us to one of the 'gem centres' which is one of the well known scams in the city and then even more so as he weaves in and out of traffic - nerves of steel needed!

Took a trip to the Khaosan Road too. Ate a deep fried meal worm...one of the girls I was with was a lot braver and ate a couple of crickets. I'll post up some photos soon.
