I spent most of today sitting on the pier on Koh Rong... I was told the slow ferry left at 10am so arrived at 9.45am. Waited and waited. The 9.30am speed boat arrived 45mins late and the crowd on the pier all got on...apart from me and one other guy. We then found out the slow boat left at 9am and the next one was not til 3! A few days before I arrived on the island there had been a fire and the hostel I was due to stay in had been partially burnt down. It was really sad as you could see the devastation it had caused to the village. Arrived on Koh Rong and headed to Dream Catch Inn to meet Vince. Shoes were not needed - all hostels, restaurants and bars were on the beach and it was sandy to the doors of them all. Arrived in Otres Beach in Sihanhoukville after the worst journey so far! The roads were horrendously bumpy and our second bus was two hours late.
