Ok so I'm been pathetic at updating my blog. I'm currently on my way to the beach on the Gold Coast as the sun has finally come out I'll backdate for the rest of my trip when I get some more time!

Been job hunting the last few days - amongst other things I've applied to be a Subway Sandwich Artist...not sure the applicant needs to be as creative as they seem to make out! Fingers crossed something comes up soon.

Hope has been amazing and had this week off work so has shown me around and taken me out. It's so nice to be staying in a house - hot showers, tv, pool, proper bed!

So far in Brisbane I've seen a wild koala and kangaroos. Oh and a dead possum but not sure that counts! Hoping to go to Australia Zoo on Sunday to see more more weird Australian creatures.

Also hoping to go to Byron bay at some point soon, going to go back to my backpacker roots - might even dig out my balloon pants....or not!
