A very blustery day here in Hvar today, but the sun still packed enough of a punch to allow for a refreshing afternoon swim. We walked along a winding coastal road for about three kilometers before arriving at a secluded cove at the end of the line. After our dip, we returned to town to catch the sunset views from Tvrdava Spanjola, a fortress that sits perched above the old town with great panoramic views of the town and the surrounding islands.

On the road again today, catching a bus from Sibenik to Split, and from there a ferry to the Island of Hvar. Croatia has over a thousand islands that dot the Dalmatian coast, so we figured that we should visit at least one of them. Like many places along the coast, Hvar City is a tight cluster of houses and buildings nestled into the rocky hill-side that surrounds the harbour. Very much looking forward to exploring it all tomorrow!
