What a long, strange trip it's been! Ten weeks later and we're back where it all began, tired but no worse for wear. We are extremely lucky to have experienced so many different countries and cultures, especially for such an extended period of time. We witnessed a lot of natural beauty (Austria and Croatia come to mind), we visited cities of great historical significance (Berlin, Dubrovnik), and we enjoyed amazing food cultures (French, Italian & Hungarian, in particular). Best of all, we spent lots of time together, sharing all of the sights, sounds and experiences.
We've really enjoyed chronicling our travels and it has been nice to know that our family and friends could share a small slice of our journey. A big thanks to everyone who shared their comments and good wishes, it really made the blog a great travel experience for us as well.
So Merry Christmas everyone! Hopefully we'll catch-up with some of you over the holidays, and to those that we miss, hopefully our paths will cross again soon.
